Cedar Room Bar, a neighborhood sports bar, has Madison Avenue’s best drinks and friendliest bartenders. Cedar Room Bar owner Rob (son of former owner Annabel) has operated the bar since early 2009, and has evolved this treasured establishment into the new century.
The unique decor was established by the bar’s founder, Jim McMahon, in about 1962, and there are generations of clientele regaling legends of the bar’s early days in the North Sac suburbs. The interior wood and fixtures were moved from a downtown Sacramento bar owned by Jim’s dad, who brought the same material from a bar he owned in San Francisco.
The vintage, interior scheme creates a unique place that is like no other. Cedar Room offers an Internet Juke Box spinning lively tunes. The well-stocked bar and great bartenders will create any drink you can imagine. Large screen TVs make Cedar Room Bar a great place to catch your favorite team. During football season, it is a perfect spot for watching Monday Night Football with friends. Cedar Room Bar has all the ingredients for a great time.
